Personal profile

Wei focused on the design and optimization of rotating packed bed (RPB) reactor during his doctoral study. He proposed the mesh-pin rotor for the anti-blockage challenge of RPB reactor. He studied the scale-up, hydrodynamics, and mass transfer performance of the RPB reactor with mesh-pin rotor. Mass transfer model was established to predict the reactor performance based on the his study. Wei joined the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering as a postdoctoral researcher in July 2021. He current research focuses on the hydrodynamics and mass transfer of the micro-packed bed reactor.
